BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) — Two high school football games still took place Friday night, after most games in the area were rescheduled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
Hilton Head Christian Academy was one of those teams that had the chance to play, with the Eagles hosting Pinewood Prep. Pinewood jumped on top of the scoring early and took a 17-3 lead.
While Hilton Head answered with a touchdown to make it 17-10, Pinewood Prep took over from there and won 60-20.
The other game featured Beaufort Academy, the Eagles hosted Colleton Prep Academy. Beaufort was strong offensively in this one led by its ground game, the Eagles scored two rushing touchdowns in the first half to take control early on.
Beaufort Academy used that momentum in the second half and win it 39-20.
