After a brief hiatus, CURLFEST returned to Randall’s Island in New York on July 25. Thousands traveled from across the country to experience one of the largest celebrations of natural hair.
Festivalgoers showed up and showed out in their boldest looks — from floral crowns and towering afros to bald beauties, intricate braids, and statement headpieces.
Between the endless hair inspiration, attendees explored beauty brands, joined panel discussions, connected with fellow curlfriends, and celebrated Black beauty culture creativity that has made CURLFEST a must-attend.
