Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is excited to introduce Savvas enVision Mathematics Georgia as its new K-12 Tier 1 mathematics curriculum, beginning with the 2026-27 school year.
Through a six-year partnership with Savvas Learning Company, SCCPSS is investing in a high-quality instructional resource aligned with Georgia’s K-12 Mathematics Standards. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a consistent, engaging learning experience that supports mathematical growth from kindergarten through high school.
Savvas enVision Mathematics Georgia helps students build a deep understanding of mathematics through problem-solving, hands-on learning, visual models, collaborative discussions, and real-world applications. The program encourages critical thinking, strengthens reasoning skills, and helps students develop confidence as mathematicians.
Because family involvement plays an important role in student success, the program also includes a variety of resources to support learning at home. Families of elementary students will have access to easy-to-use engagement materials that include instructional videos, vocabulary supports, examples, games, and activities aligned to classroom learning. These tools are designed to help parents better understand the mathematics their children are learning and provide meaningful opportunities to reinforce those concepts at home.
The adoption of Savvas enVision Mathematics Georgia reflects SCCPSS’s continued commitment to providing students with high-quality instructional resources that support academic achievement and long-term success.
Family Resources
Did You Know? In Savvas enVision Mathematics Georgia, instructional units are called Topics. A Topic is similar to a chapter in a traditional textbook, with each Topic containing multiple lessons that build students’ understanding of a mathematical concept.
We look forward to partnering with our families as we launch this exciting new chapter in mathematics education and work together to ensure every SCCPSS student develops the skills and confidence needed for success in school and beyond.
