Anok Yai dazzled on the Met Gala red carpet in a black BALENCIAGA couture gown. However, it was Yai’s makeup that really stole the show. As Anok shared online,

“When I first learned about the Met Gala theme this year, I knew I wanted to blur the line between being human and being art – a bronze statue caught in movement.”

Daley truly transformed Yai into a gorgeous, living sculpture worthy of the Louvre. Sheika revealed,

“From conception to completion… this moment was built with intention, artistry, collaboration, trust, and a little bit of madness.

Creating this living bronze statue for the Met Gala was one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences I’ve ever been a part of. Every detail mattered… every texture, every placement, every reflection, every tear.”
