The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is the better, more expensive version of the Bose Smart Soundbar, our best compact Dolby Atmos soundbar. Like that epithet might suggest, both support Dolby Atmos and Bose TrueSpace tech, which improve how sound carries across the room and how immersive it feels.

Our reviewer enjoyed the “wide and nicely detailed sound” and control options, though he noticed a lack of weight and audio “height” in its sound profile.
