From chart-topping hits to statement-making style, Ciara has always delivered beauty, hair, and body goals — especially through the ups and downs of pregnancy and motherhood. The GRAMMY award-winning artist teamed up with the beauty brand to release a reimagined version of the childhood classic “The Hokey Pokey,” where she encourages women to drop their “skinhibitions” and celebrate the beauty of their (supposed) flaws.

According to recent report, 76% of women avoid wearing clothes that show uneven skin. Those insecurities shape daily choices, from skipping the beach to layering clothes.

“Partnering with Dove to remix ‘The Hokey Pokey’ has been powerful—not just as an artist, but as a woman and a mom,” said Ciara. “Having been in the spotlight for most of my career, I’ve felt the pressure to hide things like stretch marks or uneven skin. But over time, I’ve learned confidence is about embracing, loving, and caring for your skin.”

“Dove’s mission has always been to turn beauty into a source of happiness and confidence, not anxiety,” said Bérengère Loubatier, Senior Global Brand Vice President for Dove Hair and Skin Care. “With Ciara and this joyful anthem, we want every woman to feel empowered to let go of her skinhibitions.”
