Mr. James H. Russell Sr. transitioned on June 12, 2025 at the MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 11 a.m. at Holy Band of Inspiration in Brunswick, Georgia (2401 Norwich St.) followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery with military honors. The procession will leave from the residence.
A wake is scheduled for Friday, June 20 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Magnolia Chapel at Brunswick Funeral Home (2700 Albany St.).
