Tech Trends & Innovation: The Latest in Tech News

Key takeaways
  • Up to 15 days on a single charge; with the PRO Charging Case, Ring PRO lasts up to 45 days.
  • Ultrahuman offers core health tracking, including sleep, recovery, stress, and movement, with no subscription required.
  • Optional PowerPlugs add medical-grade features: AFib detection, ovulation tracking with over 90% accuracy, snoring analysis, GLP-1 medication monitoring.

After a stint away from the American market, due to a patent infringement case, Ultrahuman has cleared US Customs and Border Protection and is officially back for sale in the country.

It’s welcome news for US customers, and Ultrahuman is one of the few smart rings that gives you access to all tracking data without requiring a subscription. Even better news is that if you are one of the first buyers, you can get it at a steep discount.

What makes Ring PRO worth your attention?

Let’s start with the battery life. Ring PRO offers up to 15 days on a single charge. Pair it with the new PRO Charging Case, and that jumps to 45 days. That’s not a typo. You could go a month and a half without needing a charger.

Ultrahuman

The ring is built from a titanium unibody and runs on a dual-core processor with on-chip machine learning for more accurate health insights. It can store up to 250 days of health data directly on the device, so you aren’t constantly tethered to your phone.

Other notable features include up to 100 meters (328 feet) of water resistance, find my case, and wireless charging for the case, among others.

If you want more, optional PowerPlugs add medical-grade features like AFib detection, a world first on a smart ring, ovulation tracking with 90% plus accuracy, snoring analysis, and even GLP-1 medication monitoring.

Do you need to pay a subscription?

No, and that’s the best part. Unlike its competitors, Ultrahuman does not lock core health tracking behind a monthly paywall. Sleep, recovery, stress, and movement data are all free.

Any special introductory price?

To make the launch more appealing to consumers, Ultrahuman is offering an early bird pricing starting at $349 for the first 1,000 orders, which includes both Ring PRO and the PRO Charging Case.

That’s $130 off the standard bundle price of $479. The price increases as tiers fill, so act fast. You can pre-order tomorrow morning, with shipping beginning on May 15.
