Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

    Key takeaways
    • Fall 2026 trend: floral jacquard and brocade pieces are widely seen in collections.
    • Expect structured jackets, coats, midi skirts, and jacquard dresses across labels.
    • Noteworthy designers include Dries Van Noten, Reformation, Veronica Beard, Zara, L’Agence.
    • Shop the season by mixing tailored pieces with floral jacquard accents for refined, playful fall styling.

MERRITT BECK, NEW YORK CITY - WEARING A TIBI T-SHIRT AND MARQUES' ALMEIDA FLORAL BROCADE JEANS

I bought these pants when I was supposed to be on a shopping hiatus… oops! But knowing the limited runs of this particular label and my affinity for statement bottoms at the moment, I didn’t want to wait and risk missing my size. When I tell you I AM OBSESSED?! The floral brocade fabric is giving tapestry in the best way, and the color palette is so unexpected and surprisingly useful in my existing fall/winter wardrobe. From green, blue and yellow, to beige, pink and burgundy, the styling options are kind of endless!

I hadn’t planned it this way, but these pants coordinate perfectly with my Max Mara outlet find (an insanely gorgeous peach-colored cashmere coat I shared here!) – the combination is truly stunning, and will be a welcome departure from dark colors this cold weather season. While I’m most excited about that particular pairing for wearing later in the season, I couldn’t wait to share these pants in fear they might sell out before you have a chance to snag a pair! While the weather is still warm, style them with an easy tee or a pretty silk blouse in a complementary solid hue – I did green here to lean into fall, but it looks stunning with cream if you want to balance it out with a neutral. The pants have a flattering high rise waist and comfortable wide leg fit that is truly sublime! Very comfortable and more importantly, FUN! I can’t wait to play around with these more as we get further into the season… expect to see them a lot!

Floral jacquard and beautiful brocade pieces are ever present in the fall 2026 collections I’m seeing, so I thought I’d share a few more noteworthy styles if you love this look:
