    • Rihanna playfully broke down her outfit, praised Rocky for reviving VIBE, and referenced their personal bond and motherhood.
    • A$AP Rocky is on the international Don't Be Dumb Tour, played Gov Ball, where fans received limited-edition VIBE copies.

If you haven’t heard, VIBE is back in print after over a decade! To celebrate the historic moment (and the New York Knicks’ Game 4 finals win), A$AP Rocky and Rihanna decided to head over to New York City’s Iconic Magazines to check out the Summer 2026 issue.

After signing a handful of copies inside the magazine retailer, Rocky headed outside to snap some photos, sign the window display, and chat with The People Gallery’s own Maurice Kamara to give a rundown of his fit.

“I’m feeling good right now. Look, I’ve got a little bit of Yves Saint Laurent and all that,” he casually says. “I’m mismatching. I’m set trippin’ because I’ve got the Chanel on the feet, a little bit of crocodile. And I’ve got the broad shoulders….Good, lookin’ gangly. I think I’m dressed for the occasion.”

Rocky held up his VIBE issue and shared how it feels to be on the magazine cover. “You know the vibe. No pub [intended],” he expresses before pointing at the window display of VIBE covers. “I’m just happy to be here. God is good; it’s a blessing. I’ve been in this shit for like 15, 16 [years]. I’m blessed to even be here.”

Of course, he couldn’t help but give advice to the Knicks as they play the NBA Finals. “Listen. New York, I’m your good luck charm,” he says. “Y’all won because of me…Look, if y’all don’t want New Yorkers beatin’ niggas up in the street, strippin’ off Spurs jerseys, you better take fuckin’ take it to the championship and take this shit!”

Shortly after, Rihanna proudly broke down her outfit for Kamara before turning their attention to the latest VIBE issue. “And this is my nigga,” she jokingly says as she shows the front and back cover. “My baby daddy brought VIBE back. The VIBE has been lost, VIBE has been brought back.” After opening the center spread, she says, “I know. Oh my god, look. Right there. I know. I fucked that nigga, and I had his babies…I’m fuckin’ a New York Yankee.”

Aside from watching his home team play on the court, A$AP Rocky has been busy on the road with his international Don’t Be Dumb Tour. Last week, he performed at the 2026 Gov Ball, where 200 fans picked up a free copy of VIBE’s limited-edition issue with their purchased merch.

Check out his Summer 2026 cover story, where he talks about fatherhood, fashion, evolving as a man and artist, and more.
