Calvary Day earns road win on busy HS hoops Tuesday



SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — It was a busy Tuesday night for high school basketball in the area.

Starting in Savannah, Calvary Day defeated Beach, 66-53, on the road to move to 8-4 on the season.

Over in Statesboro, both the boys and girls teams defeated South Effingham at home. On the boys won in dominant fashion, 86-49, while the girls came out on top, 54-36.

Long County also earned a road win, 51-40, over Groves to move to 7-8 on the season.

And out in Brooklet, the Southeast Bulloch boys came away with an 83-65 win. The Panthers improve to 6-6 on the season.
