Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

I think I’ve officially found my travel uniform. Every few months I have to hop on a plane for work or for play, and one thing I’ve started doing is wearing a matching set to the airport. I used to be a “throw on a dress and go”  type of girl, but between unpredictable airport temps and freezing planes, I needed something a little more practical. A good set just makes everything easier: you can move comfortably, you have pockets (thank the Lord!), and you still look put together while strolling through the terminal instead of like you rolled straight out of bed.

In addition to wearing a matching set, I usually go makeup-free for my flights; I pile on the moisturizer, keep my jewelry minimal, and slip on sneakers if it’s chilly or Birkenstock-style sandals when it’s warm. It feels effortless and chic, and if I need to head somewhere as soon as I land, I’m already wearing something presentable.

If you’ve been thinking about creating your own travel uniform (trust me, not having to figure out an outfit at 6AM is a true gift), I rounded up a few matching sets from around the web to help get you started.

I tend to lean towards black, neutrals, or muted tones for mine, but you can go in any direction depending on your personal style. The goal is to keep you traveling with ease. The older I get, the easier I want certain things to be, and this combination just WORKS.

    What’s your go-to airport outfit?
