“As a data scientist by profession and a creative by heart, I’m constantly delving deeper into the harmonious fusion of art and technology. My current role as a creative technologist has equipped me with a unique blend of skills perfectly suited for crafting immersive and technologically driven experiences. I use coding languages like Python CSS HTML JavaScript (P5js) and Java (Processing) to weave together mathematical equations and logic into intricate mesmerising forms of algorithmic art. Each line of code, each function forms a brush stroke in the canvas of my digital art space, transforming abstract data into visually stunning dynamic creations. My work in data visualisation goes beyond simply illustrating statistics; it’s about encapsulating complexity into a tangible and accessible form, eliciting both understanding and emotion from viewers. I guess with the rise of generative art and AI I’ve been particularly drawn to how a few lines of code are able to bring to life an amazing piece of art. That to me is the greatest form of creativity and what it means to me.”
