Cherishing the life of
Ms. Geraldine Arnett

Sister Geraldine Arnett, 69 was born on October 21, 1955, to John Arnett and Cleo Cobb-Arnett
in Sylvania, GA.
Geraldine graduated from Screven County High School, where she enjoyed playing basketball
for her alma mater. Later in life she received her in-home daycare provider license and training
through the Department of Family Children Services, becoming an entrepreneur displaying her
nurturing spirit to many children. During her career she had the opportunity to be part of her
community in Sylvania Georgia, working with her aunt Leola, cooking at the café, working
through Legacy Links at Screven County Community Collaborative and Smiles Ministries
displaying customer service and networking with many people.
At an early age, she attended Waters Grove Baptist Church. During her adulthood, she started
fellowshipping with True Love Tabernacle Deliverance Center under the leadership of Pastor
David Arnett and Evangelist Gloria Arnett (both deceased), when she accepted salvation,
proclaiming Jesus as her personal Savior. Her leaders Pastor Timothy Adams, Sr and Co-Pastor
Sandra Adams, always encouraged her to grow in the Word of God. She was able to show love
in many roles in the church, she was a member of the kitchen staff, True Love choir, and served
as head usher, until her health failed. She served the Lord with her whole heart.
Geraldine was a phenomenal mother, who loved her children, family, friends and everyone who
came into her presence. She was a firm believer of forgiveness and showing love.
She preceded in death her mother, Cleo Arnett, father, John Arnett, siblings John Arnett Jr.,
Donald Arnett, Larry Arnett, Mae Edna Hawkins, Rosa Bell Arnett, son, Antwoine Arnett, and
grandson Ahmad Elijah Arnett. She leaves her loving memories and will be truly missed by her
dear children: Deondra Arnett and Latasha Arnett Hawkins (Gary); her siblings: Josie Shefton
and Waymond Arnett, sister in law Patricia Arnett and brother in law James Shefton, her
grandchildren: Celest Arnett, Quaneesha Arnett, Demetree Abbott, Kierra Hawkins, Jermany
Hawkins, Shamyra Pressie, Tijah Arnett, Jermez Williams, Gary Hawkins Jr, Jysheem Hawkins,
Jynesha Brown, Jyshon Brown, Deontae Arnett and Jaden Arnett.
