GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC—The Guyana authorities stated Tuesday that the arrival of the ONE GUYANA Floating Manufacturing, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) vessel marks a major milestone within the development of offshore oil manufacturing and nationwide growth.
“The arrival of the ONE GUYANA FPSO is a robust image of progress, not solely in oil manufacturing however within the continued empowerment of our individuals via job creation, native enterprise alternatives, and elevated revenues that help growth throughout Guyana,” stated Pure Assets Minister, Vickram Bharrat.
Constructed by SBM Offshore, the ONE GUYANA FPSO will help ExxonMobil Guyana’s Yellowtail growth within the prolific Stabroek Block.
“With an estimated minimal manufacturing capability of 250,000 barrels of oil per day and a storage capability of roughly two million barrels, the vessel will convey whole every day manufacturing capability within the Stabroek Block to round 900,000 barrels as soon as operations start later this yr,” the Ministry of Pure Assets stated in a press release.
It stated the ONE GUYANA FPSO is the fourth manufacturing vessel to reach in Guyana, becoming a member of the Liza Future, Liza Unity, and Prosperity FPSOs.
