After a guest-filled night of performances for his Reasonable Doubt album, JAŸ-Z returned to Yankee Stadium to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his sixth studio album, The Blueprint.

With Saturday night’s show dubbed “JAŸ-Z 25,” Hov kept the music momentum going with back-to-back performances of fan-favorite songs, from “Hola Hovito” to “Girls Girls Girls” to “Song Cry.” He kicked off the night with a performance of “The Ruler’s Back,” featuring a surprise onstage appearance by the legendary chain-rockin’ Slick Rick, who went on to perform his songs “Children’s Story” and “La Di Da Di.”

After taking a solemn moment to acknowledge the souls lost on September 11, 2001 (the same day as The Blueprint‘s release), brought the energy back up and brought out Eminem for his performance of “Renegade.” Jigga gave Slim Shady the mic to perform his own hit, “Lose Yourself.” After concluding the Blueprint portion of the night, Pharrell Williams popped up onstage to perform a medley of their popular collaborations: “Excuse Me Miss,” “I Just Wanna Love U,” “Frontin,” and, of course, “Allure.”

The night’s star-studded crowd included Dave Chappelle, Fat Joe, Joe Budden, LeBron James, Gale King, Rapsody, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, and more in attendance at the Armand de Brignac risers. In the D’usse Suite, VIP guests included actress and SNL alum Ego Nwodim, rapper and actor Joey Bada$$, actress and singer Serayah, producer and rapper Pi’erre Bourne, and more who enjoyed D’USSÉ-fused cocktails like “CODE30” and “D’USSÉ Lemonade.”

Despite Hov’s first night featuring surprise appearances from Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, Nas, Alicia Keys, Memphis Bleek, and Jaz-O, Night 2 hit a historic milestone after selling 45,832 tickets, a new record for a concert held at the New York City baseball stadium. Jay-Z‘s residency weekend included an after-party held after Night 1’s show. DJ and producer Chase B set the vibe as guests toasted the 3-night weekend with D’USSÉ’s signature specialty cocktails.
