Afterglow
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

On the afternoon of September 22, 2025, In God’s infinite wisdom called his daughter Luceila “Tiny” Baker, 72 of Hilton Head Island, SC from labor to reward.

She is preceded in death by her son Charles Renard Miller and her parents; Earline Miller,”Florrie S Miller-Young”, and Walter Young Sr., and her siblings; John Miller, Charlie Miller, Pearlie Mae Driessen-Gadson, Rosa Lee Miller, and Diogenese Miller.

Luceila leaves a lifetime of memories to her siblings Dannie Miller Sr., Barbara Miller Aiken(Marion) and a host of other family and friends.
