Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

Key takeaways
  • The apartment featured a stunning garden next to a large park area, ideal for relaxation.
  • Amenities included a pool, hiking areas, and solar-powered elevators for sustainability.
  • Domestic quarters are available, offering year-round cleaning and maintenance services.
  • The two-bedroom apartment boasted a spacious living room with a massive sliding door.
  • The portrayal of life in Africa challenges negative stereotypes, showcasing a high quality of living.

I did a reaction video from Ashley in Africa. She’s an amazing person. She’s living in Johannesburg, South Africa. This video details what a luxury apartment looks like in the city.

The place she shows off is amazing.  She shows us a garden next to a massive park like area. I’m not sure if this was a common area or her area. But it’s a place I would love to relax and chill after a long day.

This place had a pool, a hiking area, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun.

The lifts or elevator are powered by solar, so there no issues when there is an electrical outage.  Across the parking lot, there were domestic quarters for the live-in maid and cleaning service people lived. So, you can have year-round cleaning and domestic services. On top of the place, you hang your laundry. There is a maintenance crew that cleans up twice a day and picks up your garbage.

When you walk into the living room, you see a space living space with a massive sliding door. This apartment was a two-bedroom, two bath. This place has a large kitchen with washer and dryer inside.

If you didn’t know any better, you would have thought this was a place in America. We, as Americans, get so many bad information about Africans and their culture. Yet, videos like this on prove that they are living the same quality of life as we are, and maybe better.

I understand that some Africans want content creators to show the positive and negative views of Africa. Though I understand their point, I would say, Americans always see the negative sides of Africa. Whites in America use it as propaganda. It’s very important that people like me see Africans living normal lives and having fun. I believe if I’m going to do this type of content, I have to do my best to put Africans in a great light.
