Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

    Key takeaways
    • Kept the pants for versatility; Nicole pants are slightly cropped with a subtle kick-flare and an elasticized waist for comfort.
    • Celine top and Nicole pants are signature silhouettes offered in over a dozen prints and fabrics, blending timeless femininity and current trends.
    • Everyday styles include the June dress, Sammy dress, easy cotton separates, plus playful lace and embroidered sets for hot days.
    • Sizing experiences vary; kept small in both top and pants, skirt ran large and short so returned, try customer reviews before ordering.
    • Follow La Maregold on Instagram or sign up for the newsletter to catch drops, as pieces frequently sell out on release days.

La Maregold’s latest collection is feminine, vibrant and unmistakably summer! I first heard about this woman-owned, up-and-coming brand last year, but was reminded of them more recently when a preview of their first summer drop appeared in my Instagram feed. I was immediately taken with this particular print: sky garden symphony. The blue backdrop is a shade I’ve been buying into more and more lately, and the vibrant floral motif is such a happy collection of colors! After more perusing I discovered so many other eye-catching patterns and pieces that felt both fresh and classic. Cool cuts that touch on current trends, but maintain a timeless, feminine vibe – what’s not to love?

I put the drop date and time on my calendar so I wouldn’t miss it, and ended up ordering the pants you see above, along with this matching top and this miniskirt. The skirt was already sold out in a small, so I ordered the medium – it ended up being both too big and too short, so that ended up going back! I’m glad I kept the pants though, because I think they’ll ultimately be more useful as I can style them more casually during the day with tees, shirts and sweaters. I kept the top too, as I think the set will be a striking look for a party or more special occasion! I love that the pants are slightly cropped with a little kick-flare curve at the hem – it’s a silhouette that looks great with all shoe styles. The elasticized waist makes them a comfortable choice too! In terms of sizing, I kept the small in both the top and the pants.

The Celine top and Nicole pants are signature silhouettes in La Maregold’s collection, and come in over a dozen darling prints and fabrics now. The line also includes a number of more casual, everyday styles like the June dress, the Sammy dress, and a variety of easy cotton separates. In search of a chic pool or beach coverup? This chartreuse lace tunic + pant look is SO cute! This embroidered tank and short set is an adorable look that will keep you cool on even the hottest of days this season. This top and pant look would be fabulous for a daytime event!

Nearly every silhouette comes in multiple print options, so lots to choose from. I would recommend following the brand on IG or signing up for their newsletter to be notified of when future collections drop – pieces sell out quickly on drop days!!
