Mr. Wilson “Fuzzy” Rivers, 89 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
- Longtime worker at Cleland Construction and Shefield Oil Company, remembered for his strong work ethic.
- Beloved cook known for cooking wild game and macaroni and cheese, drawing family and community to enjoy his meals.
- Survived by family: four children, four grandchildren, nieces, nephews; funeral and burial services scheduled in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
He was employed for Cleland Construction and Shefield Oil Company in Ridgeland, South Carolina for many years and was a hard worker for both companies.
Mr. Rivers loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He had a love for cooking wild game meat to macaroni and cheese, people used to come from all around the county and even further to enjoy his meals.
Mr. Rivers leaves to cherish his memories; His four children; Albert Jones, Doreen Smith, Denise Pinckney, and Crystal McCall, four grandchildren, along with two special nephews and one niece; Larry Gadson, Wilson Scott and Mary Palmer. He was also loved by his nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 2:00 PM.
Burial will take place at Grahamville Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
