i dont know why he didnt argue it was for medicinal reasons, the supreme court has ruled in favour of growers that they can grow up to 5-25 plants as long as its for the purposes of health
@HumanaeAdAstra Agreed! One such method is to partner with existing coalitions which seek to change the drug laws.
One such example is a Massachusetts-based organization of law enforcement officers, prosecutors, judges, and everyday citizens called, 'LEAP,' which stands for 'Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.'
You can read more about them at their website:

@Belost3 It's ok to admit you're wrong, and it requires far less effort than your ill-considered attempts at saving face. Few would disrespect you for acknowledging what is readily apparent.
The primary claims in your argument — that there has NEVER been an INSTANCE of LEOs seeking to change the law in favor of increased liberty for citizens — were handily disproved by my citation of several examples which dispositively contravene your absurd thesis.
Thus, having succeeded, I bid thee adieu.
@V-lose3 You made several bare assertions, offering only a pronouncement of certitude in your personal conviction as support for your position.
I, on the other hand, refuted your claims with comprehensive, reasoned arguments which directly and completely proved the error of your declarations.
Unless and until you come back to me with an attestation sufficiently greater than the equivalent of 'I'm rubber and you're glue,' I shall dismiss your tiresome, if not sincere, pablum, at my discretion.
@V-lose3 I didn't assume that you're a WRong Paul fan; if you read my comment more closely, you will see what I said is that people who express ideas such as yours are frequently the same people who support WRong Paul.
YOU are the one who made assumptions, thereby showing your ass for all to see.
Btw: Clearly, you are NOT the Walrus. Though I suppose it's possible that you ARE a walrus. However, I'm more inclined toward believing you're just another stoner who mistakes inspiration for insight.
@Velose3 You claim there's no need to "become actively involved in POLITICS," and instead you prescribe a programme of applying "PRESSURE to those that profess to REPRESENT us," and taking action "directly with the Politician who represents this community."
You call for "PERSISTENCE and intelligence as the core sustenance [sic]" and to "engage in direct face to face interaction."
The action you are calling for IS politics, BY DEFINITION.
*Sigh*
I'm bored with pwning you now, noob.
Good day!
@Veloce3 Furthermore, I've frequently observed that many citizens lack courage, morals, and ethics, to an extent even greater than that of our politicians.
I've also noticed that citizens who clamor for the ejection of "the current crop of CORRUPT CAREER politicians" are frequently the same people who support WRong Paul, despite the fact that he's been in office for more than 20 years.
Btw: You are NOT the Walrus; the Walrus was Paul (but not WRong Paul).
LOL!
@Veloce3 You are wrong.
There are many law-enforcement officers, as well as LEO associations which advocate drug decriminalization and even outright legalization. There are also police associations which advocate the repeal of '3-strikes' laws. In fact, there are MANY other examples of individual LEOs and LE associations which advocate and lobby the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of governments for harm-reduction policies.
Pronouncement with certitude is not evidence of truth.
its a drug you morons
It doesn't matter whether it's a plant or not… It's illegal. If you want to change something don't change that he should be locked up.. Work towards changing the law.. There is nothing the police or court system can do to let someone who is knowingly breaking the law, continue to do so. Maybe it isn't harmful… But the bottom line is that it is still illegal.
@HumanaeAdAstra Lasting change in a democratic system requires the building of broad coalitions; you won't get anywhere by alienating the people you need to partner with.
I can't like this enough. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
