Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

Hiiiiii friends! If you’re shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you know things are selling out quickly! But don’t worry, I’ve rounded up five stylish outfits under $100 that are still in stock (for now!). These pieces are perfect for building your fall wardrobe without breaking the bank.

If you want to see all my top picks from the sale, be sure to check out my full shopping guide here.

My sizing and height for reference: I often get asked my height and normal size to help you decide what size to order. I normally wear a size XS and a 25 in denim. If I say something is “TTS,” that means “true-to-size” and means that I just got my usual size. As for height, I am 5’3 and a half (that extra half inch matters! 😉 )

    • Sizing: TTS, I’m wearing an XS
    • Quality: Have you ever seen a more perfect plaid blazer? Everything about this look screams “fall!” This blazer fits really nicely and has a luxurious feel to it. The great thing about this blazer is that there are so many different ways to wear it! You could pair it with the matching skirt, OR you could pair it with jeans, black pants, a black miniskirt, etc.
    • Price: Originally $105, marked down to $79.99
    • Sizing:  Runs big, I’m wearing an XS and had to clip it in order to fit
    • Quality: This miniskirt is a must-have because it looks SO cute paired with the matching blazer! (And it gives off Clueless vibes.) I also tried it on with a plain black sweater and a white cable knit sweater and absolutely loved it. Like the blazer, there are so many ways to style this piece!
    • Price: Originally $79, marked down to $59.99
    • Sizing: Fits TTS, I got my normal size 7
    • Quality: Kitten heels are all the rage for fall, and I love how this trendy take on them! The little cut-outs at the toes add such a fun detail. Because the heel is only one inch high, they are incredibly easy to walk in, too!
    • Price: Originally $140, marked down to $89.99
    • Sizing:  TTS, I’m wearing size XS. If you’re shorter than me, it might be too long on you – I wish it was a tad shorter!
    • Quality: This dress reminds me of CHANEL! It is so, so beautiful and classy, I bought it in both black and white! It feels incredibly high-quality to the touch, the material is on the thicker side and would definitely keep you warm in the fall. I love the added details of the pearls on the pockets – it just adds to the classiness!
    • Price: Originally $98, marked down to $64
    • Sizing: Fits TTS, I got my normal size 7
    • Quality: Kitten heels are all the rage for fall, and I love how this trendy take on them! The little cut-outs at the toes add such a fun detail. Because the heel is only one inch high, they are incredibly easy to walk in, too!
    • Price: Originally $140, marked down to $89.99
    • Sizing: Fits TTS, I got a size XS
    • Quality: This is a CLASSIC cable-knit sweater. It’s a little cropped (without being too cropped), so it’s the perfect length for layering over button-downs – or simply wearing by itself. I also love how it looks tied around your shoulders for an extra preppy vibe!
    • Price: Originally $59.50, marked down to $39.99
    • Sizing:  Fits TTS, I got an XS
    • Quality: This light blue button-up shirt has tiny vertical white and black stripes. It’s SUCH a classic for your wardrobe! I love that you could style it for work, or out with friends, or layer it under sweaters in the fall. It’s such a versatile piece, it’s high-quality, and it’s less than $50!
    • Price: Originally $69.50, marked down to $45.99
    • Sizing: Runs big, I got a size 24
    • Quality: This is a great quality denim skirt, and I love that you can begin to wear it now in the summertime! It does have more of a low-rise fit, so keep that in mind if you tend to only gravitate to high-rise items. The darker wash is really pretty in person, I also styled it here!
    • Price: Originally $59.50, marked down to $38.99
    • Sizing: TTS, I’m wearing a 7
    • Quality: I love the style of these shoes, and I’ve never seen any pair quite like this ivory pair! A polished, oversized buckle highlights the pointy toe of the mule and really elongates your legs. I love this particular pair because it looks so classy – with white tweed and beautiful pearls placed all along the buckle! This is another shoe that you could go ahead and start wearing right now.
    • Price: Originally $115 , marked down to $69.99
    • Sizing: Fits TTS, I got an XS
    • Quality: This tweed jacket is absolutely gorgeous in person, with shades of white, black and brown paired with several show-stopping gold buttons. There are endless ways to style this! I personally love throwing it on over my shoulders (you can see how I styled it here), but it looks so cute on, too – especially with denim! There is also a matching skirt available but my store did not have it.
    • Price: Originally $139, marked down to $92.99
    • Sizing: Fits TTS, I got an XS
    • Quality: The classic cotton shirt is reimagined in this fashion-forward version – I absolutely love it! It is a true wrap-style top with side tie closure in a crisp white color. This is definitely office-appropriate, especially when paired with black pants or a skirt.
    • Price: Originally $79.50, marked down to $52.99
    • Sizing: Runs big, I’m wearing XXS
    • Quality: The quality of this miniskort is nothing short of amazing – it has microshorts underneath, and the XXS fit me perfectly! I love everything about this skort from the fit and flare to the length (not too long and not too short). I tried it on with an assortment of sweaters today, and loved them all!
    • Price: Originally $59.50, marked down to $38.99
    • Sizing:  TTS, I’m wearing a size 7
    • Quality: I have been on the lookout for an updated pair of black heels, and I found it in these gorgeous slingback pumps! This style is very trendy right now with a slightly squared-off toe and a flared heel. These are a bit of an investment, but I can see why – they’re incredibly well-made! I walked around in the dressing room in these for at least an hour, and my feet were completely comfortable.
    • Price: Originally $328, marked down to $239.99
    • Sizing: TTS, I’m wearing an XS
    • Quality: This sweater dress is SO high-quality, it’s made of a thick sweater material and would most definitely keep you warm in the cooler months! I love the silhouette and the beautiful gold buttons. My only critique is that it’s *slightly* long for us gals on the shorter side. I’m 5’3 and a half and I wish it had been just a touch shorter for me!
    • Price: Originally $109, marked down to $69.99
    • Sizing: TTS, I’m wearing a 7
    • Quality: I love the style of these shoes, and I’ve never seen any pair quite like this ivory pair!

I’d love to know… what is your favorite outfit from this list?!
