Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration
Add a stop at Babalu to your next outing with family and friends! They recently updated their menu and I was invited to stop by one of their locations to try out a few things. My niece is a foodie in the making, so I took her with me so that we could enjoy some bites together and yap, lol.
Normally when we go to Babalu we get their table side guac, but the Tuna Carpaccio was light, fresh and a will be a perfect dish for warmer months. It was a standout dish for me.

The Patatas Bravas are always a good call for sharables, they’re garlicy with a little bit of crunch, so they could be a great side for a salad or burger.

The Carne Asada Power Bowl and Tuna Poké Bowl are great lunch options if you’re trying to keep it light, but the George’s Spicy Honey Chicken Sandwich is just as tempting when you want to indulge but don’t want tacos or a burger.

I love a good cocktail and normally get a spicy margarita, but the Paloma Fantasma cocktail was yum; refreshing with a little spice, so I was still able to enjoy a little “kick”.

If you have a sweet tooth like we do, the Double Chocolate Skillet Cookie with Avocado Ice Cream and the Cinnamon Bread Pudding are both delish! The avocado ice cream flavor is very light and creamy but balances well with the salty sweetness of the chocolate skillet cookie. They also have a seasonal frozen option too (we tried what was basically a raspberry sorbet and it had the perfect amount of sweetness without feeling too indulgant).

There are quite a few more new dishes and cocktails on the menu and they’re now available at both locations. We will always have our go-to picks, but it was nice to switch it up and I found a few new favorites!
