Mr. Rogers Horace Albright, 85, was born March 28, 1940 to Rogers Albright, Sr. and Ruth Tanksley in Savannah, GA. He departed this life on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at his residence under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice and surrounded by his loving family, including his wife, granddaughter, Horace, Sammie, Tony, David and Torrence.
Rogers attended and graduated from the Chatham County Public School System. He later moved to Bronx, NY where he began his career at Bakers Pride Steel Factory for 38 years before retiring. After retirement, he relocated to Sylvania, GA in 2005.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sisters, Catherine, Ruthie Mae, Jessie, Evonne and Joanne; brothers, Henry and Wilbert.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Albright; his daughter, Cheryl Jackson; his sons, Gregory Albright, Rogers Albright, III, Clarence Washington, III and Kevin Washington; his sisters, Nancy Baines, Hattie Frazier and Lizzie McClain; his in-laws, David (Helen) Capers, Roy (Gertrude) Capers, Beatrice (William) Ross, Jonetha (Billy) Owens, Rose (Orlando) Webb and Lizzie ( Thaddeus) McCants; his grandchildren, Ebony Washington and Jenean Washington; great-grandchildren, Nyasia, Mehki, Damari, Anaya and Janelle;Â also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
