SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah State baseball group gained a mid-week, out-of-conference showdown with Voorhees College on March 26 at Tiger Area.
Savannah State scored two runs within the first, fourth and fifth innings. Additionally they added yet another run within the sixth to construct a 7-0 lead. They survived a scare within the high of the seventh. They gave up 4 runs. In the long run, they prevailed 7-4.
Subsequent up, the Tigers return to SIAC play for a three-game sequence with Miles. The Tigers from Fairfield, Ala are in third place within the SIAC. Savannah State is presently ranked second within the standings.
