In celebration of Savannah State University’s Behavior Analysis Program’s 20th anniversary, a live podcast will be held April 18 from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Art Gallery in the Asa. H. Gordon Library on the SSU campus, 3219 College Street, Savannah, Ga. 31404.
The podcast, a result of a partnership between SSU’s Behavior Analysis program, Beyond the Science Podcast, and Black Men in Behavior Analysis and the ABA Guru, Marquii Jacobs, will provide information about what behavior analysis is and how behavior analysts help the community. Additionally, listeners will learn about emerging trends and directions in the field and about the accomplishments of the SSU program over its 20 years of graduating behavior analysts.
“We want our students and prospective students to fully understand the career opportunities in the field and learn about the latest trends of what is happening in behavior analysis circles,” said Dr. Katherine Stewart, SSU Behavior Analysis Program Coordinator. “The event will also provide a chance for students and seasoned professionals in the field to network, leading to the cultivation of career opportunities, including internships.”
Students, faculty, staff, and SSU alumni are invited to attend the live recording. Due to space limitations, members of the public are encouraged to tune in to the live broadcast at https://www.youtube.com/@BeyondTheSciencePod (also available on Instagram and Spotify).
