HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (WSAV) — Justin Thomas, the world’s No. 8 golfer, tied the course file at Harbour City Golf Hyperlinks Thursday.
He shot a 61 in spherical one at RBC Heritage.
He shot 10 strokes underneath par which included 11 birdies and solely a single bogey.
That is the third time a participant has shot 10 underneath in a spherical at Harbour City. David Frost did it first in 1994, adopted by Tony Advantage in 2015.
Scottie Scheffler and College of Georgia graduate Russel Henley each had nice days too. The pair completed seven strokes underneath par.
Relating to native gamers, Savannah native Brian Harman and Bluffton resident Brian Campbell each completed at 5 strokes underneath par.
Harman will tee off tomorrow at 9:55 a.m., adopted by Campbell at 11:20 a.m.
