Timmie Lee Reed, Sr., was born on May 9, 1967, in Millen, Georgia, to
Mae Frances Reed and Eugene (Shirley) Lacue. He entered into eternal rest
on September 7, 2025, at Comfort Creek Nursing Facility.
Timmie was educated in the Jenkins County school system. At an early
age, he was baptized and became active in the church. He began his career
at Bellcrest Mobile Homes and later worked in the wood department at
Ritz Company. A dedicated and hardworking man, Timmie took pride in
providing for his family and always kept himself busy.
Well known throughout his community, Timmie lived each day with love,
passion, and boundless energy. He had a generous heart and never hesitated
to help others. A talented mechanic, he enjoyed working with his hands and
found joy in sharing his skills. His unstoppable spirit, contagious smile,
and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Pansa W. Reed; sons,
Timothy L. Reed, Timmie (Champerial) L. Reed, Jr., Avery J. McAlpine,
and Antwon Fowler; and grandchildren, Dallas Timar Reed, Jaila A.
McAlpine, Ava J. McAlpine, and Avery J. McAlpine, Jr. He is also survived
by his sisters, Bobbie J. Edmond, Victoria (James) Childs, Valerie Lacue,
Shirley Lacue, Christy (Tyrone) Williams, and Lafonda Bynes; brothers,
Darren Lacue and Christopher Lacue; brother-in-law, Rodney E. Stubbs;
along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
