Style Spotlight: Looks, Trends & Fashion Inspiration

    Key takeaways
    • Stick to simple, versatile pieces (jumpsuits, lounge sets, leggings) you can rewear; favorites include Free People, Nordstrom, Amazon.
    • Choose dresses as a go-to for easy, flattering outfits; wear maxi or midi styles for casual or elevated looks; try Abercrombie and Revolve.
    • Pack lightweight, bump-friendly swim and coverups; size up swimsuits and use sarongs or hats; favorites include Monday Swimwear and Missoni.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about what I’ve been wearing during pregnancy, so I wanted to put together a post with some of my go-to maternity outfits. As my bump has grown, I’ve definitely found myself reaching for pieces that are comfortable, easy, and still feel like me.

I’ve been trying to keep things simple this time around – pieces I can throw on without overthinking, re-wear in different ways, and that actually work for my day-to-day life. Comfort is key, especially when I’m chasing around my girls! My bump didn’t really start to show until we got into spring, so most of these looks are more spring and early summer outfits that I’ve been wearing recently.

I’ll continue to update this post with more outfit ideas as we get further into summer (baby girl is due in June!), but these are the pieces I’ve been wearing the most – from everyday looks to vacation outfits and everything in between.

    Easy Everyday Maternity Outfits

These are the outfits I reach for the most day-to-day… comfortable, easy, and still feel cute and put together. Whether I’m at home, running errands, or just having a slower lounge day with my family, these are the pieces I’ve been wearing on repeat.

Free People stretch cotton jumpsuit (I’ve bought this in several colors now!!)

Outfit on the left: Amazon striped skort set // outfit on the right: Amazon pink lounge set

    Petal & Pup cotton romper

Outfit on the left: Amazon blue stripe lounge set // outfit on the right: Nordstrom maternity leggings (THE BEST maternity leggings) // Nordstrom t-shirt // similar jacket

    Amazon polka dot set

Outfit on the left: Target pullover sweatshirt // Matching Target shorts // Target sneakers // Béis luggage checked bag & carry-on roller // Macy’s classic tote bag // outfit on the right: Abercrombie short-sleeve cardigan // Target pants // Dolce Vita mesh flats // JW PEI Keyla bag

Dresses and Skirts I’ve Been Wearing on Repeat

Dresses have been my go-to during pregnancy – they’re by far the easiest thing to throw on and always feel comfortable, no matter how much my bump changes. Some of these are more casual, everyday dresses, while others are a little more elevated for dinners or events, but they’ve all been my favorite dress finds during this pregnancy.

Abercrombie maxi dress (almost sold out of blue stripe, but still in stock in the green stripe!) // Zara sandals // Shell necklace // Miu Miu sunglasses // Amazon pink woven bag

Outfit on the left: Meshki yellow maxi dress // outfit on the right: Petal & Pup floral maxi dress with removable scarf

Meshki off-the-shoulder top // Revolve polka dot skirt // Similar espadrille shoes

Outfit on the left: Walmart top // Walmart matching skirt // Amazon necklace // outfit on the right: Macy’s BLANK NYC quilted bomber jacket // Amazon white summer dress // Nordstrom jelly flats

Similar yellow sweater // Zara white midi skirt // Target sneakers

Outfit on the left: Revolve stripe sweater // Revolve stripe skirt // Nordstrom white kitten heel sandals // outfit on the right: Nordstrom blue cardigan // Zara white midi skirt // Nordstrom necklace // Lack of Color raffia bucket hat

Target floral dress // Similar yellow sweater

Outfit on the left: Amazon maxi dress // heart necklace // Nordstrom white kitten heel sandals // JW PEI shell clutch // outfit on the right: Nordstrom green and white maxi dress // Dolce Vita sandals // Shell earrings // Miu Miu sunglasses

    Revolve Pistola brown dress

Outfit on the left: Zara striped dress // Nordstrom woven mary janes // Tortoise shell necklace // Amazon straw clutch // Zara little girls crochet dresses // Outfit on the right: Black ruffle hem dress // JW PEI shell clutch // Nordstrom Reformation white sandals // White heart necklace

Beach Riot pink floral maxi dress // JW PEI shell clutch // Beaded heart necklace // Beach Riot girls red maxi dress // Beach Riot printed maxi dress

Amazon mini dress // Amazon shell necklace // Target bow sandals // Miu Miu sunglasses // similar bag

    Vacation & Swim Maternity Looks

A lot of these looks are from our recent trips – a mix of swimsuits, coverups, and easy beach outfits I’ve been wearing on repeat. I’ve been loving anything lightweight, easy, and bump-friendly for warmer weather, and I’ve actually just been sticking with my usual swim brands and sizing up.

Outfit on the left: SAME brown and white polka dot bikini top and matching bottoms // Lack of Color raffia bucket hat // H&M eyelet shorts // Miu Miu sunglasses // Outfit on the right: H&M one-shoulder bikini top and matching bottoms // Monday Swimwear hat // Monday Swimwear sarong // Target bow sandals

Monday swimwear blue floral bikini top and matching bottoms // Monday swimwear blue floral sarong // Monday Swimwear hat // Amazon shell necklace // SAME little girls one-piece // ZARA blue crossbody

Outfit on the left: Free People white top and skirt set // Outfit on the right: Free People yellow top and skirt set

Missoni chevron cover-up // SAME bikini top // SAME bikini bottoms // Miu Miu sunglasses // Girls chiffon top and matching skirt

Dressing for the bump can definitely be a little trickier, but it’s such a short season and I’ve actually had fun finding ways to make pieces work. These are the outfits I’ve been reaching for the most lately — I’ll keep updating this post as I find more favorites!
