SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Jennifer Hughes is lighting a path of discovery, encouragement, and hope for her students.
Her superior teaching is why Savannah-Chatham County’s 2026 Teacher of the Year.
Hughes has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Colorado. Her other accomplishments include earning a Master of Arts in Special Education, and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in culturally and linguistically diverse education
She joins WSAV’s Tina Tyus-Shaw to share her joy for teaching on this Winning Wednesday.
