From Campus to Classroom: Stories That Shape Education

Having a strong resume is vital for landing a great job or internship position in your field. You may have all of the skills and experience needed to succeed in the role, but if your resume doesn’t reflect that, recruiters won’t invite you for an interview. Stand out against other candidates by using the following tools to transform your resume.

If you need to redesign your resume, Canva is a great tool to let your creativity go wild. They offer hundreds of resume templates to choose from, so you won’t need to start from scratch. All you’ll need to do is fill in your information on your desired template, and your resume will be done in no time!

No matter how many times you may proofread your resume, there’s nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. Grammarly can assist in ensuring your resume is error-free and professional. You can download the software to your computer or add it as an extension on your Google Chrome browser for quick grammar checks while you’re online.

Here at The HBCU Career Center, we offer a resume feedback service. All you need to do is create an account, upload your resume, and then submit it for a free evaluation from a resume expert at TopResume. These expert resume writers can help you develop a strong resume that’ll increase your chances of landing an interview.
