    Save the Date: City of Savannah Hosts Inaugural Property Tax Information Session

    SAVANNAH – The City of Savannah Revenue Department’s Property Tax Division invites residents to save the date for its inaugural property tax information session in August.

    The educational session is designed to help residents better understand their City of Savannah property tax bill and the property tax process. Attendees will receive information about important dates, timelines and key updates related to the 2026 second installment tax billing cycle. Representatives from the Chatham County Tax Assessor’s Office will also provide information about available property tax exemptions.

    The event will take place Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the City of Savannah Municipal Services Building, located inside the Coastal Georgia Center.

    When: Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
