Traffic Alert: Bay St. Reopens
SAVANNAH – The center lanes on Bay St. between Drayton St. and Bull St. temporarily closed earlier this week due to utility repair work mobilized and staged on East Bay St. have reopened.
Utility repairs on Bay St. began Monday, Sept. 21, and were completed Thursday, Sept. 24. All lanes are open to traffic between Bull St. and Drayton St. The City of Savannah appreciates patience and understanding during all construction projects aimed at improving safety and sustainability of the city.
The City of Savannah is continuing to monitor conditions and will provide updates as needed.
