BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — Banana Ball took over Keesler Federal Park for the second night in a row Saturday.
The weekend’s second matchup between the Firefighters and Loco Beach Coconuts drew thousands of fans from around the country.
Jennifer Keyes and her family have been fans of the game since 2019. They’re in town visiting family, but hail from Savannah, Georgia, home of the original Savannah Bananas.
Keyes said that no matter where you see Banana Ball, you’re going to get the same world-class experience.
“They’re fans-first. They take care of their fans, everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re here for the first time or the hundredth time. It’s important and they make you feel so welcome. The players, the cast. It’s a great organization,” she said.
The Firefighters won again against the Loco Beach Coconuts by a score of 4-2.
