2026 MLB playoff bracket: Schedule, scores, how to watch as Dodgers, Rays, Brewers advance, Yankees eliminated

Three teams clinched their spots in the League Championship Series on Wednesday as the 2026 MLB playoffs continued. The Rays completed their sweep of the Yankees to eliminate their division rivals and move on in the American League bracket. In the National League, the Dodgers secured their third straight NLCS appearance by eliminating the Braves, while the Brewers got back on track and took down the Padres. Los Angeles and Milwaukee will open their series on Sunday, the third such NLCS matchup in nine years.

The final LDS matchup, meanwhile, continues on after the White Sox suffered their first loss in the 2026 postseason at home in Game 3 as the Guardians took down their AL Central rivals to stay alive. That series will resume on Thursday as Chicago attempts again to advance.

The 12-team playoff field is down to five, as the Astros, Red Sox, Cubs and Phillies were already knocked out in the best-of-three Wild Card Series last week.

Below is a look at the full 2026 MLB playoff bracket and the playoff schedule.
