HBCU Information Highlight:

Clark Atlanta College proudly publicizes its 2025 Graduation Week, a vibrant celebration honoring the outstanding achievements of almost 800 graduates. With an anticipated attendance of over 6,000, the week of festivities culminates within the prestigious Graduation ceremony, showcasing the arduous work and dedication of the college’s distinctive college students.

 

Occasion Schedule

Graduation Ceremony (ticket solely)

Date: Sunday, Might 18, 2025  

Time: 10 a.m. (Ticketed, public entry begins at 8:30 a.m.)  

Location: GSU Convocation Heart, 455 Capitol Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30312  

Graduation Speaker: Dr. Dennis Kimbro, a distinguished educator and best-selling creator, is acknowledged for his experience in management, wealth, and success.

 

Baccalaureate Service  

Date: Saturday, Might 17, 2025  

Time: 10 a.m.  

Location: Vivian Wilson Henderson Well being and Bodily Schooling Heart, Leonidas S. Epps Gymnasium  

Baccalaureate Messenger: Rev. Dr. Brian Tillman, a revered chief recognized for his dedication to ministry and social justice.

This Baccalaureate Service will honor the graduating class via a Christian-based interdenominational worship service, celebrating their journey and achievements.

 

Prelude to Graduation: Salute to Graduates

A heartfelt reception will honor all graduating college students, acknowledging high honors and presenting honor cords and medallions. The Valedictorian and Salutatorian will share inspiring messages, embodying the spirit of accomplishment and camaraderie.

 

Ph.D. & Grasp’s Honors Ceremony  

Date: Wednesday, Might 14, 2025  

Time: 3 – 4:30 p.m.  

Location: Bishop Cornelius L. Henderson Scholar Heart, Juanita Powell Baranco Auditorium  

 

Faculties of Enterprise, Schooling, and Social Work Hooding Ceremonies 

Date: Friday, Might 16, 2025  

Time: Varied occasions between 1 – 7 p.m.  

Clark Atlanta College invitations the group to hitch on this week of inspiration, celebration, and recognition because it honors the brilliant futures of its graduates.

Clark Atlanta College was fashioned with the consolidation of Atlanta College and Clark Faculty. Atlanta College, established in 1865 by the American Missionary Affiliation, was the nation’s first establishment to award graduate levels to African People. Established 4 years later in 1869, Clark Faculty was the nation’s first four-year liberal arts school to serve a primarily African American scholar inhabitants. As we speak, with almost 4,000 college students, CAU is the most important of the 4 establishments that comprise the Atlanta College Heart Consortium.
