UV Protection Month: Securing Your Skin from Hazardous Rays

The Threats of UV Straight Direct Exposure

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sunlight and tanning beds can cause skin problems, very early aging, and likewise skin cancer cells. As we enjoy the outdoors throughout UV Safety and security and safety and security Month, it’s essential to take actions to protect ourselves from these damaging rays.

Straightforward Activities to Protect

  • Slip on a tee: Hide with garments that has a limited weave and dark shades to block UV rays.
  • Spill on sun block: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or greater, and reapply every 2 hours or after swimming or sweating.
  • Add a hat: Placed on a hat with a vast boundary to secure your face, neck, and ears.
  • Seek shade: Whenever practical, look for color, especially throughout leading sunshine hours (10 am- 4 pm)

  • Remain free from tanning beds: Tanning beds generate UV radiation, improving your threat of skin cancer cells and very early aging.
