Global Black Voices: News from around the World

KwaZulu-Natal’s coastal belt, including Durban, will experience a wet Friday with showers extending into the weekend.

Forecaster Mpho Rasimphi said, “We expect rainy conditions for Durban and surrounding areas, with temperatures peaking at around 24°C on Friday.”

The wet spell will cover coastal and some inland regions, with surrounding towns expecting cooler conditions and highs around 23°C.

Weekend Showers to Continue

Saturday will see rain extending from KwaZulu-Natal into the Eastern Cape and parts of the interior.

“Rainy conditions are set to persist into Saturday, particularly along the coast, while inland regions will remain cool and damp,” Rasimphi said.

Mild Temperatures Despite Rain

Despite the persistent showers, maximum temperatures in many KZN areas will remain mild in the low to mid-20s.

Overnight lows in Durban are forecast at around 17°C, while inland areas will experience cooler nights.
