” Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

We belong to God, not only for a few fleeting years that we  call life, but for eternity. God is on both sides of the river. He walks with us during our earthly life and is there to receive us for our eternal life. We are in God’s presence in life, death, and everlasting, yet we must cross the river to receive our crown of life. To my wonderful family and friends on Monday, July 14, 2025, I turned my back and left it all when I saw God waiting for me on the other side.

Ms. Amelia A. Avery,79, of Hardeeville, SC transitioned on July 14, 2025 in the comfort of her residence, with her family at her side. Please remember her family and friends and love ones in your thoughts and prayers at this time.

Walk through viewing will held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Stiney’s funeral home.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 2:00pm at St. Stephen AME Church, 710 Main St. Hardeeville, SC 29927

Services of comfort have been confidently entrusted to Stiney’s Funeral Home
