From Hollywood to Home: Black Voices in Entertainment

Lil Wayne rang in his 43rd birthday with his two of his kids by his side.

The rapper enjoyed a night out on Saturday alongside his daughter Reginae Carter and his son Neal Carter.

Reginae, 26, shared a series of photos from the outing on Instagram, captioning the post, “Dinner with fam.”

In one snapshot, Wayne stood between Reginae, who wore a sleek black dress and pearl necklace, and Neal, who kept it casual in a hoodie and camouflage pants. The trio were all smiles as they posed in front of a two-tiered gold-and-green cake that read “Happy Birthday Tune.”

Other photos showed Reginae smiling and striking poses with her younger brother.

Wayne is dad to four children: Reginae with ex Antonia “Toya” Johnson; Neal with singer Nivea; Dwayne III with radio personality Sarah Vivan; and Kameron with actress Lauren London.

Earlier this month, Wayne and London celebrated Kameron’s 16th birthday with a party where the proud dad even put on a mini concert and performed some of his hit songs.

Despite his busy schedule, the Grammy winner makes fatherhood a priority. During an appearance on Matt Barnes’ All the Smoke podcast, he even paused mid-interview to FaceTime Kameron for a bedtime check-in.

“That’s Kam, he going to sleep. He gotta get his goodnight,” Wayne explained before signing off with, “Goodnight, boy. I love you. Gimme some.”

He also reflected on their bond over sports. “Everybody knows I love sports,” Wayne said. “Going to a game has been different over time. Going to a game with him, we damn near don’t even watch it because we know so much… You find that with each kid.”
