The Life of Mr. Woodrow Weldon Lee

MR. Woodrow Weldon Lee fell asleep peacefully July 2, 2025 after a brief illness.  Woodrow was born May 8, 1951 in Screven County Georgia to the late S.J. and Birtha Lee.  He graduated from Screven County High School, served in the U.S. Marines and retired from the City of Savannah in 2015.

Woodrow will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and friend.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Madean Burns and Ora Lee.

On June 9, 1990, Woodrow married Dorsie Lee Williams. They enjoyed serving Jehovah together and spending time with their families.

Woodrow is survived by his wife, Dorsie Williams Lee; three children, Bernadette Letita Stone (Joey) of Jacksonville, FL; Zenas Weldon Lee (Centennial) of Statesboro, GA  and LaQuinton Woodrow Lee of Goose Creek, S.C.; two brothers, Willie David Lee (Eva) and Craig Lee (Patricia); three sisters, Velma Benton (Herman), Birt Zellner (Gregory) and Margaret Lee Jones (Sam); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins, friends and family.
