 Deacon Alex Jenkins, Sr. and Deaconess Elise Kittles Jenkins
Guyton, Georgia

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deacon Alex Jenkins, Sr., age 95, and Deaconess Elise Kittles Jenkins, age 82, who both departed this life on November 3, 2025, as the result of a tragic house fire at their home in Guyton, Georgia.

Deacon and Deaconess Jenkins were faithful and devoted members of Egypt Missionary Baptist Church in Egypt, Georgia, where they served their church family and community with unwavering love, dedication, and faith. Their lives were a shining example of Christian service and steadfast commitment to God.

Memorial Service Saturday, November 15, 2025, 11:00 A.M., Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church 801 Central Blvd, Guyton, Georgia, 31312.

Please keep the Jenkins family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult and trying time. They leave to cherish their loving memories:
Children – Geraldine Jenkins, Mary Ann Louder (Edward), Ann Kennedy (Dale), Oralether Jenkins, and Diane Jenkins (Terry) Daughter-in-law – Connie Jenkins; 19 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
