Real Estate News & Market Insights:

Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Garner and her mom were brought to tears when they were surprised with a near-perfect recreation of the kitchen that sat inside the actress‘s childhood home in West Virginia.

Garner, 53, and her mom, Patricia Ann, couldn’t help but get emotional when they were brought to the space, which had been designed by appliance company KitchenAid to perfectly mirror the kitchen inside their Charleston, WV, home.

The mother-daughter duo initially thought they were being brought in to take part in a holiday photo shoot, but after stepping inside the kitchen set, which looked identical to the one in their Greystone Place abode, they were left gobsmacked.

Both Garner and her mom began welling up at seeing their vintage wooden table and green refrigerator, with both women quickly recalling the many happy memories they had made inside the original space.

“This is where we would hang out, all our crafts happened right here with somebody looking through from that side,” Garner said, while looking through the cupboards. “This is the cabinet where you hid the chocolate chips.”

The kitchen boasted a large wooden table, matching wooden cabinets, yellow oven, granite countertops, drawings, and a yellow KitchenAid mixer.

The “13 Going on 30” star then pointed at a nostalgic photo of her mom that was sitting on the counter, adding that it reminded her of the days that Patricia would get her perm done while “sitting at the table.”

“I think it’s a privilege to get to see where we used to be. I want that to be the den and then I wanna hear dad come home from work. That’s what I feel,” Patricia said.

The 87-year-old noted that the patterned wallpaper in the replica kitchen first caught her eye.

Garner noted that the experience gave her a “really deep feeling of homesickness and gratitude.”

“You made everything. Whatever we had was stuff that we made. You made every cookie we ate, you made our homemade pizza. We would hover around the stove waiting for that,” Garner said.

In another clip, Garner and her mom got emotional as they recreated her childhood chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Patricia previously joined her daughter on Garner’s latest installment of her “Pretend Cooking Show.”

In the clip, which was shared on Instagram on Oct. 6, the mother and daughter duo followed Patricia’s famous enchilada recipe.

Garner noted that her mom had been “making them for many years.”

The clips come one year after Garner’s dad and Patricia’s husband, William, died at the age of 85.

While the actress has resided in Los Angeles for many years now, she maintains a close connection to her West Virginia roots, revealing in an Architectural Digest shoot of her custom-built home that she has a stained-glass window designed to capture the area where she grew up.

A far cry from her quaint West Virginia dwelling, Garner’s current home, which she had built from the ground up, is an opulent farmhouse that provides her with a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.

Speaking to AD in September 2024, she admitted that she was on the fence about letting cameras into her personal dwelling but said that she was so proud of the property, she couldn’t help but show it off.

“I’m such a private person about my home and here I’ve just taken you through the entire house, and really it’s for a couple of reasons,” she said.

“I’ve never built anything all by myself before, and I’m so proud of it. I’m filled with gratitude every time I walk into my house, that I get to live here, that I’m so lucky to have my kids here. It’s unlike me, and yet I’m so happy to have shared it with you.”
