City of Pooler Area Update:

Key takeaways
  • The LIHEAP program helps low-income households with heating and cooling costs, prioritizing elders, people with disabilities, and children.

The Economic Possibility Authority (EOA) for Savannah-Chatham Region is supplying an added possibility for locals of Pooler to obtain power help on Monday, March 30, 2026, starting at 9: 00 a.m. at Pooler Municipal Government

This help is offered with the Low-Income Home Power Support Program (LIHEAP) , which is developed to help low-income families with their energy costs, especially during the cold weather. The program intends to make certain that qualified families, consisting of elders, people with impairments, and little ones, do not face financial difficulty in heating and cooling their homes.

Appointments will certainly be readily available on a first-come, first-served basis. To qualify for aid, a family’s annual earnings need to meet the LIHEAP Eligibility Guidelines , which take into account household size and revenue. To use, please bring the following papers:

  • Present light & & gas costs, unless total electrical (showing the quantity owed)
  • Social Protection card for each and every member of the family
  • Picture ID for the applicant
  • Evidence of earnings for the last 30 days for each adult in the household (can consist of, however is not restricted to, a 2026 Social Safety And Security Honor Letter, an income stub, a letter providing public aid, or unemployment benefits for all relevant household participants)

For a smooth and reliable application procedure, applicants are motivated to bring published copies or xeroxes of their files, rather than pictures shown on a phone, to aid speed up handling.

Please note that this occasion is limited to locals of Pooler only. If you have any type of concerns or need aid with the application procedure, please get in touch with Art Best at 912 – 238 – 2960, extension 132
