I love a flirty little dress, and if it has ruffles? It’s definitely coming home with me, lol. Dresses are soooo easy (they’re “one and done” pieces that you don’t have to stress about), and depending on the style and color, you can wear them so many different ways, so I’m always on the hunt for new ones. I have been wanting a tiered ruffle dress like this for years, but I would never see them out “in the wild”, but a few months ago I was out shopping for something else and ran across this pretty piece in JC Penney of all places!
It has that romantic, boheme feel to it that I love, and I really like the fact that I can style it a few different ways. When I first got it, I paired it with silver heels and accessories for an evening event, but I knew when I purchased it that I was going to wear it with these suede knee high boots as well. I’ve seen pictures of cream ruffled dresses like this with boots on Pinterest for years (it’s very Chloe-coded), and while this isn’t necessarily the color I wanted, it was close enough to make it work and recreate the trend.
This is one of those dresses that I’ll have in my wardrobe for a while. It’s sold out, but I found a few similar styles around the web in case you want to get in on the trend as well.
