- A cropped pixie by Joy Johnson and nude nails by Marrla from the Latina-owned Citrine Salon finished the look.

Funnywoman Janelle James has always stood out, whether sharing what’s on her mind or how she shows up beauty-wise, and the Golden Globes were no exception. The “Abbott Elementary” co-star brought vibrant slay to the red carpet with an all-Black (and Brown) glam team and a sheer orange chiffon LaQuan Smith gown, styled by The Dame Effect.
“I really wanted to wear a Black designer,” James said on the red carpet. “And yeah, orange,” she added. “Did you know they did the Pantone color of the year? It’s some kind of off-white. And I said no. No. Not today. Not today!”
Her beauty beat came courtesy of Carla Rosso‑Neal, who kept things glowy and fresh with a burnt orange lip and cheeky shine. “I created a juicy, radiant flush using Fenty Beauty to perfectly complement her stunning gown,” Rosso-Neal shared. She used Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush in “Peach Face and Big Melons,” topped with Cheeks Suede Powder Blush in “Just a Crush.”
