BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) — Two high school football games still took place Friday night, after most games in the area were rescheduled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Hilton Head Christian Academy was one of those teams that had the chance to play, with the Eagles hosting Pinewood Prep. Pinewood jumped on top of the scoring early and took a 17-3 lead. There were 14 more registered sex offenders living in Liberty County in August compared to the previous month, according to the Georgia Sex Offenders Registry.Overall, 203 registered sex offenders were living in the county at the time.The Registry shows that seven of these sex offenders are sexual predators.
