CAT Board of Directors to Hold Second Budget Hearing and Regular Meeting in June – Chatham Area Transit (CAT)

Chatham Area Transit (CAT) Update:

6/20/2025 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) Board of Directors will hold its second hearing of the FY 2026 Operating Budget & Capital Plan ahead of its Regular Board meeting on Tuesday, June 24, at 4 p.m.

Public comments will be taken into consideration prior to the adoption of the proposed FY 2026 Budget and Capital Plan prior to Board adoption.

Persons wishing to make comments on the proposed budget can do so in any of the following ways:

  • Via US Mail, CAT Board Office, 900 East Gwinnett Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401
  • Via drop off at CAT Central, 900 East Gwinnett Street or the ITC, 610 West Oglethorpe Ave, 31401
  • Via email at meetings@catchacat.org
  • Via Zoom Chat box during the public hearing

All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments.

The Board of Directors will consider adopting the proposed FY 2026 Operating Budget & Capital Plan during its regular meeting after the second hearing has concluded.

The Board meeting will take place in-person at CAT Central, located at 900 E. Gwinnett St, Savannah, GA 31401, and will also be accessible virtually via YouTube for those unable to attend in person.
