The wait is finally over! Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling fantasy novel, Children of Blood and Bone.
The story follows Zélie Adebola (Thuso Mbedu), a young warrior determined to restore magic to the kingdom of Orïsha after is was stolen from her people by the King. She embarks on a dangerous journey that could change the fate of an entire nation.
Based on Adeyemi’s acclaimed novel, the screenplay was co-written by Tomi Adeyemi and director Gina Prince-Bythewood, filmed in South Africa and the Canary Islands, the production showcases the breathtaking landscapes of Africa.
