    City of Savannah, WorkSource Georgia Coastal Launch Second Chance Workforce Summit 2026

    SAVANNAH – The City of Savannah and WorkSource Georgia Coastal will host the Second Chance Workforce Summit 2026. The theme: Your past doesn’t determine your future – you do.

    The two-day workforce development initiative is designed to connect justice-involved jobseekers with workplace opportunities, career resources, and other pathways to sustainable employment.

    The summit takes place Monday, June 8, 2026, and Friday June 12, 2026, at the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center (PARC) facility located at 425 Pennsylvania Avenue in Savannah.

    Opening day begins with the Work Readiness Clinic, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, and features resume building workshops and interview preparation sessions. Day two concludes with the Second Chance Career & Resource Expo, from 10:00am – 1:00pm, where attendees may meet directly employers, explore training and education opportunities, and connect with community support organizations. Additionally, expo attendees can expect to find job opportunities across a range of industries, community resource navigation, and individualized support for career journey next steps.
